CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to renew a contract for bulk fuel and delivery for 2026 with Inter-City Oil Co. for an estimate amount not to exceed $156,600.00, payable from 660-015-5212 (fleet services, Public Administration, motor fuels).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes a renewal to a contract with Inter-City Oil Co. for bulk fuel purchases and delivery in 2026. This is the fifth and final year of the contract period with will run from January 1, 20206 through December 31, 2026. There are no remaining renewals on this contract.
The final fuel price is based on a fixed constant of $.40 cents per gallon over the Duluth daily refinery rack rate average. The estimated contract cost is based on historical usage and rack rates.
