CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a second amendment to the sublease agreement, substantially in the form of the attached as Attachment 2, with the state of Minnesota, department of administration, acting of behalf of the Minnesota department of employment and economic development (DEED) for the subleasing of space in the Duluth Athletic Club building at 402 West First Street in Duluth, Minnesota for the CareerForce Center. sublease payment to be deposited in Fund 268-.0131-6251.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes city officials to enter into a second amendment to a sublease agreement with DEED. DEED subleases space in the Duluth Athletic Club building. The second amendment extends the term of the sublease from August 1, 2025, to July 31, 2028, and reduces the square footage of the subleased space.
