CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Ulland Brothers, Inc. for the Water Street Shared Use Path Project in the amount of $304,632.38, payable out of Capital Improvement Fund 450, Department/Agency 030 (Finance), Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), city project no. 0925TR, S.P. 118-090-023. This project will be reimbursed by federal and parks funds.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the award of a contract for construction of the shared use path on Water Street from 21st Avenue East to 23rd Avenue East by Ulland Brothers, Inc. in the amount of $304,632.38. Ulland Brothers was the lowest responsible bidder of the three companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate was $277,810. Payable out of Capital Improvement Fund 450, Department/Agency 030 (Finance), Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), city project no. 0925TR, S.P. 118-090-023, requisition no 17-0169, to be reimbursed by federal and parks funds.
