CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that the proper City Officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Ulland Brothers, Inc. for the 32nd Ave W Creek Watershed Stormwater Resiliency Improvements Project in the amount of $1,982,707.00. Payable out of fund 535-500-1945-510, City Project no. 2069.

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the award of the 32nd Ave W Creek Watershed Stormwater Resiliency Improvements project to Ulland Brothers, Inc. in the amount of $1,982,707.00. Ulland Brothers, Inc. was the lowest of the six bidders that responded. Payable out of the storm fund 535-500-1945-5310, City Project no. 2069. The project will be funded by a grant received by the City totaling $2,226,711 and the required 10% grant match provided by the City with a combination of in-kind staff time and $68,868 in cash paid out of the storm fund (535). The engineer’s estimate was $2,225,806.40. The list of bids is attached as Exhibit A, and a location map is attached as Exhibit B.
