CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to purchase steel materials for seawall reconstruction from JD Fields & Company, Inc. in relation to the Seawall, Baywalk and Harbor Plaza project for a total amount not to exceed $1,949,467.32, payable from fund 450-030-5530-CP450-20BOND-SEAWLL (capital improvements, finance, improvements other than buildings, capital projects - other fund contributions, City & State Bonds 2020, Seawall Phase II).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes a purchase from JD Fields & Company, Inc. for steel materials related to the Seawall, Baywalk and Harbor Plaza project for a total amount not to exceed $1,949,467.32. This purchase includes steel sheet for the dock wall, protective steel coatings, double channel walers, steel pipe piles, and bent plate steel pile caps.
Purchasing issued an Invitation to Bid on April 18th, 2023 and received four bids as listed below. JD Fields & Company, Inc. submitted the lowest responsive bid.
