CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that pursuant to 10-0229, the city council hereby approves Resolution 25D-12 of the Duluth Economic Development Authority (DEDA) and authorizes the expenditure in an amount not to exceed $252,200, payable from Fund 860, to enter into a contract with Utility Systems of America, Inc. for Phase 2 of a Two-Phase Building Demolition.

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  This resolution is to obtain the city council’s approval of DEDA Resolution 25D-12 and authorize the expenditure of $252,200 with Utility Systems of America, Inc. to complete phase 2 of a two-phase building demolition at 125 E. 1st Street to facilitate future redevelopment of that site. 

 

Purchasing issued an Invitation to Bid on February 12, 2024, and received six bids as listed below.  Utility Systems of America, Inc. was the lowest responsible and responsive bid.
