CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute a subrecipient grant agreement, substantially in the form of that attached Exhibit A, with Ecolibrium 3, sub-granting to said organization up to $280,266 of funds from the Department of Energy RACER Grant to fund a portion of the project implementation; said sum to be payable from fund no. 257-025-3001-5319 (Sustainability - RACER Grant - Professional Services).

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  This resolution authorizes city officials to execute a subrecipient grant agreement with Ecolibirum 3 to provide funds in the amount not to exceed $280,266. Funding will be used by the subrecipient to fund activities related to their portion of the RACER grant. Ecolibrium 3 played a crucial role in writing the grant, receiving the grant award, and is established to play a critical role in the implementation of the project. They will also partner with city staff to complete the community-based research portion of the grant, allowing city staff to accomplish the asset inventory and assessment for solar photovoltaics and storage available in the community.
