RESOLUTION APPROVING ISSUANCE OF TEMPORARY ON SALE LIQUOR LICENSES TO VARIOUS LICENSEES.

CITY PROPOSAL:
BE IT RESOLVED, that the city council of the city of Duluth hereby approves issuance of the following temporary liquor licenses, subject to depart-ment-al approvals, with any further restrictions, and further subject to approval of the liquor control commissioner:
Duluth Airshow Wings Foundation (Duluth Oktoberfestival at Bayfront Park) for September 15-17, 2024 at 350 Harbor Drive;
Duluth Airshow Wings Foundation (Duluth Airshow) for May 18-19, 2024, at 4701 Grinden Drive;
Stella Maris Academy (Stellabration) for May 31, 2024, at 4321 Allendale Avenue;
Harbortown Rotary Foundation (Bike Duluth Festival) for July 19-21, 2024, at 9500 Spirit Mountain Place;
MN Juvenile Officers Association (MNJOA) for June 10, 2024, at 200 West First Street;
The College of St Scholastica (Mayfest Festival) for April 27, 2024, at 1200 Kenwood Avenue;
Grandma’s Marathon (Park Point 5 Miler) for July 18, 2024, at 4750 Minnesota Avenue;
Grandma’s Marathon (Grandma’s Marathon) for June 21-22, 2024, at 350 Harbor Drive;
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: These applications for temporary on-sale liquor licenses were reviewed by the Duluth police department and were recommended for approval by the Alcohol, Gambling and Tobacco Commission at their March 6 meeting.
