RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT 24920 WITH THE MINNESOTA POLLUTION CONTROL AGENCY (MPCA) TO SUPPORT INSTALLATION OF AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATION AT ENDION STATION.

CITY PROPOSAL:
WHEREAS, resolution 25-0031R authorized acceptance of the MPCA grant in the amount of $219,888.00; and
WHEREAS, the installation of a Direct Current Fast Charger has proceeded and an amendment is needed to extend the grant project deadline.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute the first amendment to agreement 24920, substantially in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A, with the MPCA.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution amends grant agreement 24920 with the MPCA for funding the installation of a Direct Current Fast Charger at the Endion Station lot in Canal Park, to extend the project deadline to June 30, 2026. This amendment is necessary to complete the remaining grant deliverables of installing updated parking spot striping and signage. The installation of the EV charger itself is complete.
