CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Ellingson Trenchless LLC for construction of the 2023 Gas Blanket Project for Mains and Services in Various Locations in the amount of $1,575,970.00, payable out of Gas Utility Fund 520, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital Improvements), Object 5533 (Revenue), city project no. 2123.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize construction of 1” through 8” high pressure polyethylene gas mains and ½” and larger polyethylene gas services during the 2023 construction season by Ellingson Trenchless LLC in the amount of $1,575,970.00, payable out of Gas Utility Fund 520, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital Improvements), Object 5533 (Revenue), city project no. 2123, requisition no. 23-99250. Ellingson Trenchless LLC was the lowest bidder of the three companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate was $1,600,000.
