RESOLUTION APPROVING ISSUANCE OF A TEMPORARY ON SALE INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSE TO VARIOUS LICENSEES.

CITY PROPOSAL:

                     BE IT RESOLVED, that the city council of the city of Duluth hereby approves issuance of the following temporary liquor licenses, subject to depart-ment-al approvals, with any further restrictions, and further subject to approval of the liquor control commissioner:

 

 

                     Duluth Airshow Wings Foundation (Duluth Airshow) - Application for a temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor license for July 15-16, 2023 at the Duluth Airport, 4701 Grinden Drive.

 

                     Duluth Airshow Wings Foundation (Duluth Oktoberfestival at Bayfront) - Application for a temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor license for September 15, 16, & 17 at Bayfront Festival Park, 350 Harbor Drive.

 

                     Marshall School (Reunion) - Application for a temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor license for July 14, 2023 at Marshall School, 1215 Rice Lake Road.

 

                     La Dona, SBC (Art in Bayfront Park) - Application for a temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor license for August 19-20, 2023 at Bayfront Festival Park, 350 Harbor Drive.

 

                     Girl Scouts of MN and WI (Cookies on Tap) - Application for a temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor license for June 29, 2023 at Clyde Iron Works, 2920 W Michigan Street.

 

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  The applications for temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor licenses were reviewed by the Duluth police department and were recommended for approval by the Alcohol, Gambling and Tobacco Commission at their May 3 meeting.
