CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to contract with Cy-Con, Inc. for the 2025 structural repairs of parking ramps for a total amount not to exceed $244,195.00, payable as follows:

 

$29,818.25                     505-015-1480-2510-5405 (parking fund, Public Administration, off street parking, Technology Village Ramp)

 

$71,510.25                     505-015-1480-2511-5405 (parking fund, Public Administration, off street parking, HART District Ramp)

 

$37,248.25                     505-015-1480-2512-5405 (parking fund, Public Administration, off street parking, Medical District Ramp)

 

$105,618.25                     505-015-1480-2513-5405 (parking fund, Public Administration, off street parking, municipal lots)

 

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes a contract with Cy-Con, Inc. for the structural repairs of the Technology Village, HART District, Medical District and Library/Depot parking ramps for an amount not to exceed $244,195.00.

 

This expense will serve to fully fund all currently recommended facility structural repairs at the listed parking ramps.  The overarching purpose is to ensure that the facilities are maintained in good structural condition, thereby maximizing public safety and the useful lives of the facilities.

 

Purchasing issued an Invitation to Bid on April 25, 2025, and received four bids as identified in the attached bid summary.  Cy-Con, Inc. submitted the lowest responsive bid.
