CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute an agreement with TKDA for the design of Waabizheshikana: The Marten Trail Segments 0, 1, and 2 project as identified in the attached Exhibit A for a total amount not to exceed $99,623.00, payable from fund 452-030-5530-HANDHTAX-1501-04 (tourism & recreational projects, finance, improvements other than buildings, half & half tax projects, Waabizheshikana Trail, Segments 0-3: 63rd Ave W to Boathouse Point).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an agreement with TKDA for professional engineering services related to design of Waabizheshikana: The Marten Trail Segments 0, 1, and 2 project for a total amount not to exceed $99,623.00.
Due to a pending grant agreement, the scope of work to be awarded at this point will be limited to include wetland delineation, final design, permitting, and cost estimating. Upon securing the remaining grant funding, an amendment to this agreement will be required to include the remaining scopes related to construction administration.
The cost of the contract will be paid for by a previously awarded grant from the National Park Service for the design of this project.
