CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with LHB Inc., substantially in the form of the attached Exhibit A, to provide professional engineering design services for the Junction Avenue/St. Marie Street Reconditioning Project, payable out of Permanent Improvement fund 411, Department/Agency 035 (Capital Projects Accounts), Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), city project no. 1464, S.P. 118-156-013.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an agreement with LHB Inc. for professional engineering design services for the reconditioning of Junction Avenue from College Street to St. Marie Street and St. Marie Street from Junction Avenue to Carver Avenue. The project will be constructed in 2025, and includes major storm pipe replacement, sidewalk replacement, and pavement improvements. Stormwater utility funds, Local Road Improvement Program funds and Municipal State Aid for Local Transportation funds will be used for construction. Due to the complexity and time frame of bidding this project, the city requested the services of a consultant engineer. The engineering will use budgeted capital funds payable from Permanent Improvement Fund 411, Department 035 (Capital Projects Accounts), Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), city project no. 1464.
