RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE EXISTING CIVIL SERVICE CLASSIFICATION OF BUDGET MANAGER.

 

Body

CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that the proposed amendments to the specifications for the existing civil service classification of budget manager (attached as Exhibit B), which were approved by the civil service board on May 6, 2025, are approved. This classification shall remain subject to the city's collective bargaining agreement with its supervisory unit employees; and that pay range for said classification shall change to Range 60, pay rate of $102,515 to $134,904 per year, from Range 50, pay rate of $94,903 to $124,886 per year.

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The existing classification of budget manager has been revised to reflect necessary changes that have evolved over time. The pay range negotiated for this classification is Range 60, pay rate of $102,515 to $134,904 per year. This is a change from Range 50, pay rate of $94,903 to $124,886 per year.
