CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to execute an agreement with Short Elliott Hendrickson, Inc. for engineering services for the Lead Service Replacement Project in the Lincoln neighborhood for an amount not to exceed $332,070.00 payable from fund 510-500-1905-5533, UtilB-2249 (water, Public Works and Utilities, capital (incl deprec/debt svc), capital improvements-revenue, utility projects budgeted-Lincoln LSLR 4).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an agreement for initial site visits and inspections, and design and bidding services for the Lead Water Service Replacement Project in the Lincoln neighborhood to Short Elliott Hendrickson, Inc. for an amount not to exceed $332,070.00 payable from the Minnesota Public Facilities Authority, Clean Water Revolving Fund. This project is a continuation of the ongoing lead water service replacements city-wide.
The City Purchasing Division issued a request for proposals for two project areas on May 23, 2024 and received four proposals as listed below. After evaluation and scoring, two of the proposals have been selected to each be awarded one project area within the project. Short Elliott Hendrickson, Inc. is one of the awarded proposers.
