CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to contract with Sir Lines-A-Lot, LLC. for Skyline Parkway Safety Improvements for a total not to exceed $92,919.00, payable from fund 440-038-5530; SIP2024-2252 (street improvement program; special assessment contracts; improvements other than building contra expense account).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes a contract with Sir Lines-A-Lot, LLC. for Skyline Parkway Safety Improvements for a total not to exceed $92,919.00.
This project is in response to public concern about safety on the “Enger Loop” of Skyline Parkway and will replace existing pavement markings and signage, converting this section of road to a one-way with a pedestrian trail. This concept was presented to the public last summer and project work began with guardrails installed late last fall at the intersections of Skyline Parkway with both 5th and 6th Street.
City purchasing issued a request for quote on February 13, 2025 and received one responsive, responsible quote.
