RESOLUTION APPROVING ISSUANCE OF A TEMPORARY ON SALE INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSE TO VARIOUS LICENSEES.

CITY PROPOSAL:

                     BE IT RESOLVED, that the city council of the city of Duluth hereby approves issuance of the following temporary liquor licenses, subject to depart-ment-al approvals, with any further restrictions, and further subject to approval of the liquor control commissioner:

                     Lester River Rendezvous, Inc. - Application for a temporary on-sale liquor license at Lester Park, 61^st Avenue and Superior Street for September 30, 2023.

                     Duluth Children’s Museum (A Night at the Brewseum) - Application for a temporary on-sale liquor license at 2125 West Superior Street for October 7, 2023.

                     Cyclists of Gitchee Gumee Shores (COGGS Race Across Duluth) - Application for a temporary on-sale liquor license for Chambers Grove Park on September 9, 2023.

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  The applications for temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor licenses were reviewed by the Duluth police department and were recommended for approval by the Alcohol, Gambling and Tobacco Commission at their August 2 meeting.
