CITY PROPOSAL:
BE IT RESOLVED, that the city council of the city of Duluth hereby approves the transfer of the following on sale intoxicating liquor license and on sale Sunday license, subject to departmental approvals, and the payment of sales and property taxes:
Mitch’s Inc. (Mitch’s Bar & Grill) to Stephen Witherspoon (Doc Witherspoon’s Soul Food Kitchen), same address.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The application of Stephen Witherspoon (Doc Witherspoon’s Soul Food Kitchen) for transfer of the liquor license of Mitch’s Inc. has been reviewed by the Duluth police department, and was recommended for approval by the alcohol, gambling and tobacco commission at their November 4, 2020, meeting.
