RESOLUTION APPROVING A COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF DULUTH AND LAW ENFORCEMENT LABOR SERVICES LOCAL 538 FOR THE YEARS 2024-2026.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute and implement a collective bargaining agreement with the Law Enforcement Labor Services Local 538 (“LELS 538”) substantially the same as the attached Exhibit A, covering the terms and conditions for LELS 538 bargaining unit members for the years 2024 through 2026.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The parties have been in negotiations for a successor agreement to their current 2021-2023 collective bargaining agreement. The parties tentatively agreed to a 2024-2026 collective bargaining agreement on April 18, 2024, and the LELS 538 membership ratified the collective bargaining agreement on May 3, 2024.
