CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Trail Source, LLC., for trail repairs and improvements at Chester Park, Congdon Park and Hartley Park, in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by SAS+Associates, and a total contract amount not to exceed Three Hundred Forty-Three Thousand Two Hundred Twenty-Four Dollars and Thirty-Six Cents ($343,224.36), payable as follows:
$9,342.00 Disaster Recovery Fund 225; Finance 125; Parks, Recreation, & Other 1807; Contract Services 5310; Project: FLOOD - 305, Flood - June 2012, Chester Park
$75,951.86 Disaster Recovery Fund 225; Finance 125; Parks, Recreation, & Other 1807; Contract Services 5310; Project: FLOOD - 303, Flood - June 2012, Congdon Park
$257,930.50 Parks Fund 205; Community Resources 130; Parks Capital 1220; Improvements Other than Buildings 5530; Project: CM205 - Hartley, Capital Maintenance Fund - Hartley
The total Project cost includes the contractor's Hartley Park base bid and mobilization cost for Projects C and D of $169,563.50, Project D Alternate #1 of $8,039.80, and Project D Alternate #2 of $80,327.20; the contractor's Congdon Park base bid and mobilization cost of $75,951.86; and the contractor's Chester Park base bid and mobilization cost for Projects 1, 3, 6, 9, 10, 12, and 13 up to a total project cost of $9,342.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes a contract with Trail Source, LLC for trail repairs and improvements in Hartley, Chester and Congdon Parks.
