RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING LEASE AGREEMENT WITH BENJAMIN KIMMES FOR RESIDENTIAL DWELLING UNIT LOCATED WITHIN THE CHESTER BOWL PARK CHALET.

CITY PROPOSAL:

                     RESOLVED, that the proper city officers are authorized to enter into a lease agreement with Benjamin Kimmes, substantially in the form attached as Exhibit 1, for the residential dwelling unit located within the Chester Bowl Park Chalet.  Rent payments shall be deposited into Fund 110-121-1222-4622 (general fund, public administration, facilities management, rent of buildings).

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes a lease agreement with Benjamin Kimmes for the residential dwelling unit located within the Chester Bowl Park Chalet located at 1801 E. Skyline Parkway.  Benjamin Kimmes has lived at the apartment since January 1, 2015 under a previous lease agreement that is now expired.

 

The lease is month-to-month effective November 1, 2017.  Rent is $460.00 per month, with at least $100.00 to be paid in cash.  The lessee is eligible for up to $360.00 in rent reduction per month by providing on-site maintenance duties and related services as further described in the lease agreement.  Lessee’s on-site services will be recorded on a monthly work log, which is submitted to the city and verified by the Parks Maintenance Supervisor or his or her designee.
