CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a hosted dictation software subscription agreement with Northland Business Systems, Inc., substantially in the form attached hereto as Document A, for the provision of a software program that will help produce documentation faster and more accurately, payable from fund number 110-160-1610-5414 (General, Police, Investigations and Administration, Software Licenses and Maintenance Agreements).
Statement of Purpose
This resolution authorizes the execution of a hosted dictation software subscription agreement with Northland Business Systems, Inc. This software, called Winscribe Dictation, is a speech productivity and documentation workflow management solution that enables the user to utilize their voice to quickly and thoroughly create documents, letters and reports. The technology helps the user to produce documentation faster and more accurately, while protecting the security of sensitive information. This is a one-year contract with annual renewal options including a 3% escalator for each renewal term.
