CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to amend agreement L30720 with Corval Constructors for the City Hall Mechanical-Electrical-Plumbing project for change orders to their general conditions work scope and to increase the amount by $47,953.00 for a total amount not to exceed $3,737,097.00, payable from fund 450-030-5520-CP2024-2402B (capital improvements, finance, buildings & structures, 2024 capital improvement projects, City Hall HVAC).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution amends agreement L30720 with Corval Constructors by an increase of $47,953.00. This increase is for change orders to their general conditions work scope incurred for additional services related to modifying the building’s interior as needed to accommodate the installation of new mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, including rebuilding ceiling grids in offices and storage rooms, modifications to walls and electrical closets, and removal of existing ductwork.
This contract’s base bid is funded through an allocation from the federal American Rescue Plan Act, with subsequent change orders funded through the City’s approved Capital Improvement Plan budgets.
The City Hall Mechanical-Electrical-Plumbing project is substantially complete. No further amendments to any of the three separate project contracts are anticipated.
