Library Foundation Board Report August 2026

The Duluth Library Foundation Board met virtually on July 15, 2026.
The DLF Board reflected on the Friends/Foundation joint meeting and discussed the importance of continuing the conversation started at that joint meeting. The Board also discussed the DLF’s upcoming website update. An agency has been chosen to complete the work, and the Board is hopeful that the project will be completed before the end of the year. The DLF’s investment policy was also discussed, and the Board reviewed the scope of our restrictions on investments. Erin provided an update on the children’s section regarding the start of our public facing phase of the campaign, including the use of givebutter.com for campaign donations and the “I was a library kid” initiative. The Board also discussed ways to increase community involvement with the children’s section refresh.
