CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to execute an agreement with HCM Architects, substantially in the form of that attached as Exhibit A, for pre-design services for a consolidated maintenance facility for an amount not to exceed $56,250, payable from 450-030-5520, CP450-CONMNT (capital improvements, Finance, buildings and structures, capital projects, other fund contributions).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an agreement for study and other pre-design services for a consolidated maintenance facility for City maintenance operations, including Street Maintenance, Property & Facilities Management, Park Maintenance, Fleet Services, Radio Shop and Signal Operations. This initial phase of services will provide the City needed information to assist with site selection and a concept design. Once a site is found, the agreement is able to be amended to include additional phases through to project completion should the City desire to do so.
The City Purchasing Division issued a request for proposals for the project and received eight proposals, which were evaluated and scored. The top three scoring proposals were interviewed and then ranked. HCM Architects has been recommended for award of this project.
