RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A REQUEST TO MNDOT TO PROVIDE PERMITTED ACCESS TO TRUNK HIGHWAY 23 AT RIVERSIDE DRIVE.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the city of Duluth requests from MnDOT a permitted access to Trunk Highway 23 from Riverside drive, the location of which is shown on the attached Exhibit A.
Statement of Purpose
This resolution is on behalf of requirement by Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) for relocated Riverside Drive to have official access onto Grand Avenue. Existing permitted access is at previous location of Riverside Drive intersection at Grand Avenue. Riverside intersection was re-located about twenty years ago. City Council approved attached Geometric Layout No. 2 for State Project 6910-96 in Resolution 14-0538R, which shows existing location of Riverside Drive intersection at Grand Avenue.
