CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Hanco Utilities, Inc. for construction of the 2018 High Pressure Gas Mains and Services at Various Locations in the amount of $1,067,710, payable out of Gas Utility Fund 520, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital Improvements), Object 5533 (Revenue), city project no. 1724.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize construction of 1” through 6” high pressure polyethylene gas mains and 1/2" and larger polyethylene gas services during the 2018 construction season by Hanco Utilities, Inc. in the amount of $1,067,710, payable out of Gas Utility Fund 520, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital Improvements), Object 5533 (Revenue), city project no. 1724, requisition no. 18-0180. Hanco Utilities, Inc. was the lowest responsible bidder of the three companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate was $1,100,000.
