RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to reprogram $101,200 of 2011 and 2012 Community Development Block Grant Funds and transfer funds to the West Duluth Food Access and Education Project.

Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The purpose of this resolution is to increase the Fiscal Year 2015 project amount by $101,200 for the West Duluth Food Access and Education Project. The project includes improvements to the blighted and flood damaged lots at 45th Ave W and Grand Avenue and when completed will include a community garden, community gathering space and a greenhouse. Community partners for the project include the Duluth Community Garden Program and Community Action Duluth Seeds of Success Program.
The funding will come from completed economic development projects by CHUM, Neighborhood Youth Services, Life House, Community Action Duluth, and Entrepreneur Fund within the Duluth at Work program that are now complete. The Duluth ...
