RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2021 FEE SCHEDULE RELATED TO APPLICATIONS FEES FOR VACATION DWELLING UNIT, ACCESSORY HOME SHARE, AND ACCESSORY VACATION DWELLING, LIMITED.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, pursuant to sections 2-5, 31-6, and 31-8 of the Duluth City Code, 1959, as amended, and the authority otherwise granted in said Code and the Duluth City Charter, effective as of December 1, 2021, the charges for those application fees for interim use permits related to vacation dwelling units, accessory home shares, and accessory vacation dwellings, limited are hereby established as follows:

FURTHER RESOLVED, that no later than February 15, 2022, and annually in all subsequent years, the Director of Planning & Economic Development shall submit a report on the total number of Interim Use Permits applied for during the prior calendar year to the city council; and
FURTHER RESOLVED, that starting as of the effective date of this resolution, on or before February 15, 2022 and annually thereafter, the Director of Finance shall have caused 50% of the application fees related to interim use permit applications associated with vacation dwelling units received during the prior calendar year to have been transferred from Fund 110-132-1301-5441 (Planning & Development, other expenditures) to the Housing Trust Fund (266-020-4730-20 (Housing Trust Fund - Planning - Interfund Transfer).
