CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement, substantially in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A, for professional grant research and writing services for 2018 for an amount not to exceed $50,900, payable from 205-130-1219-5319 (Parks Fund; Community Resources; Parks Operating; Other Professional Services).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes a contract with Christine Penney for professional grant research and writing services through December 31, 2018.
Ms. Penney’s services will include grant research, application, and administration work in support of park, trail, and green space protection projects across the city with a major focus on the St. Louis River Corridor. A similar contract for 2017 services resulted in new grant awards in excess of $2.5 million. A copy of the consultant’s proposal for 2018 is included in an attachment to Exhibit A.
