CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that the proposed amendments to the specifications for the existing civil service classification of water system maintenance foreperson (attached as Exhibit B), which were approved by the civil service board on August 26, 2025, are approved. This classification shall remain subject to the city's collective bargaining agreement with its basic unit employees; and that pay range for said classification shall remain Range 34, pay rate of $73,678 to $86,308 per year.

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The existing classification of water system maintenance foreperson was revised to allow an A or B Water Supply System Operator’s Certificate to allow for a broader candidate pool. There is no change in the pay range, which is Range 34, pay rate of $73,678 to $86,308 per year.
