CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to amend agreement L30521 with LHB, Inc. for professional landscape architectural and coastal engineering services for the Duluth Lakewalk and Brighton Beach project as detailed in the attached proposal as Exhibit A, and to increase the amount by $98,940.00 for a new total amount not to exceed $446,827.00, payable from fund 450-030-5535-CP450-20BOND-BBEACH (capital improvements; finance; improvements other than buildings, capital projects - other fund contributions; MN state bonds 2020; Brighton Beach).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution amends agreement L30521 with LHB, Inc. by $98,940.00. This amendment is necessary to fund additional coastal engineering services that were requested on the first phase of the Brighton Beach scope, and to fund the second phase of the project, consisting of surveying the as-built conditions, final design, construction documents and specifications, construction administration and oversight.
These funds will be payable from fund 450-030-5535-CP450-20BOND-BBEACH (capital improvements; finance; improvements other than buildings, capital projects - other fund contributions; MN state bonds 2020; Brighton Beach)
