CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute an Amended and Restated Joint Powers Agreement, substantially in the form of the attached Document A, amending and restating an existing agreement (city contract no. 20015-03); renaming the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force as the Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force; and incorporating updates to the Violent Crimes Enforcement Teams operation manual.

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the proper city officials to execute an Amended and Restated Joint Powers Agreement.  The amended and restated joint powers agreement renames the Lake Superior Drug and violent Crime Task Force as the Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force and incorporates updates to the Violent Crimes Enforcement Teams Operations Manual.
