CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to purchase Techrete, Techrete water based primer, Crafco sealant, leveling mastic, and a three-month rental of a patcher trailer from Brock White Company, State Contract No. 46779, for a total amount of $123,680, payable from Street System Maint Utility 290, Public Works and Utilities 500, Gravel & Other Mtce Materials 5224.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes a purchase from Brock White Company of 20,000 pounds of Techrete for $26,400; 72,000 pounds of leveling mastic for $48,960; 70,000 pounds of Crafco sealant for $37,100; 45 gallons of Techrete water based primer for $1,620; and a three-month rental of a Crafco Patches II diesel trailer for $9,600; for a total purchase amount of $123,680. These materials are used to maintain and repair streets throughout the City of Duluth. 2015 totals are attached as Exhibit A.
