CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to award a contract to Northland Constructors of Duluth, LLC for construction of the Lowell to Lakewalk Trail Phase 1 (now known as Campus Connector) in the amount of $777,773.75, payable from Capital Improvement Fund 450, Department 030 (Finance), Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), city project no. 1327, S.P. 118-155-008.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize award of a contract to Northland Constructors of Duluth, LLC in the amount of $777,773.75 for the construction of the Lowell to Lakewalk Trail Phase 1, now known as Campus Connector. Northland Constructors was the lowest responsible bidder of the four companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate was $807,672. Payable out of Capital Improvement Fund 450, Department 030 (Finance), Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), city project no. 1327, S.P. 118-155-008, requisition no. 16-0137.
