CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Michels Corporation for the construction and CIPP rehabilitation of sanitary sewer under Superior Street in the amount of $996,858.00 payable out of the Sanitary Sewer Fund 530, Department 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital Improvements), Object 5533 (Revenue), city project 1529.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize the construction and CIPP rehabilitation of approximately 5,012 feet under Superior Street between Sixth Avenue West and Fourth Avenue East by Michels Corporation in the amount of $996,858.00. The project is funded by the Sanitary Sewer Fund 530, Department 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital Improvements), Object 5533 (Revenue), city project 1529, requisition no. 16-0223. Michels Corporation was the lowest responsible bidder of four companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate was $1,500,000.00.
