RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A $25,000 CONTRIBUTION FROM ESSENTIA HEALTH FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE LINCOLN PARK MINI-MASTER PLAN.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the city of Duluth does hereby accept, as a gift from Essentia Health, a $25,000 contribution to be deposited into Tourism and Recreational Projects-452, Finance-030, Gifts and Donations-4660 for playground improvements and health-related informational placards at Lincoln Park.
FURTHER RESOLVED, the city hereby expresses its appreciation for this gift on behalf of the city and its citizens.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution is to accept a $25,000 gift from Essentia Health.
The contribution is to implement a portion of the Lincoln Park Mini-Master Plan (Exhibit A) and will focus on the playground or natural play area and include informational placards.
