CITY PROPOSAL:

                     RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract, substantially in the form attached as Exhibit A, with Twin Ports Testing, Inc. for professional geotechnical and material testing services required to support the construction, operation, and maintenance of City systems on an as-needed basis through December 31, 2017 for an annual amount not to exceed Fifty Thousand and no/100th dollars ($50,000.00), and a total contract amount not to exceed One Hundred Thousand and no/100 dollars ($100,000.00), payable from various appropriate funds, departments, agencies, and objects.

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes a Master Services Agreement for geotechnical and material testing services as described in Exhibit A of the agreement, on an as-needed basis through December 31, 2017.  Services to be performed at the request of the City Engineer or her designee.

 

This agreement will be a blanket purchase agreement, with projects ordered and billed on an hourly basis in accordance with the firm’s fee schedule, which is attached to the agreement as Exhibit B, pursuant to a City-issued written statement of work or similar document. Entering into this agreement does not guarantee a minimum order, and the agreement can be terminated at any time.
