CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute a professional services agreement (“Agreement”), substantially in the form as that attached hereto as Exhibit A, with Brycer, LLC of Warrenville, Illinois, securing for the city use of “The Compliance Engine” or “TCE,” Brycer’s internet-based service for enhancing municipal review, tracking, record-keeping and enforcement pertaining to fire protection systems (which must be annually tested and inspected pursuant to city code) for a period of three years commencing upon date of final execution by all parties, at no cost to the city.

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the city to enter into a professional services agreement with Brycer, LLC, for purposes of securing for the city use of “The Compliance Engine” or “TCE,” Brycer’s internet-based system for improving municipal review, tracking, record-keeping and enforcement relating to fire protection systems (i.e., systems - such as automatic sprinklers - used to detect fires, activate alarms, and extinguish or control fires), which must be annually inspected and tested pursuant to city, state, and international fire codes.
