RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT WITH WLSSD FOR SUPERIOR ST. SEWER LINING PROJECT.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a license agreement with the sanitary board of the western lake superior sanitary district, a copy of which is attached hereto as exhibit A, pursuant to which the city will cause 1136 lineal feet of the district’s sanitary sewer lines to be lined in conjunction with the lining of city-owned sewer lines in the downtown area and the district will reimburse the city for the cost thereof, deemed to be $172, 273.60, payable to the sanitary sewer fund 530, department 500 (public works & utilities), division 1905 (capital improvements), object 5533 (revenue), city project 1529.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The purpose of this resolution is to an agreement with WLSSD for the City to line the District’s sewer lines in the downtown area in conjunction with the City’s lining of its sewer lines in the area and for the district to reimburse the city for the cost thereof.
