CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to amend Resolution 16-0386R, passed on May 23, 2016, awarding a contract to JMF Construction, Inc. for the 2016 Patch and Sidewalk project, increasing the amount by $67,000 for a new total of $188,545, payable out of Permanent Improvement Fund 411, Department/Agency 035 (Capital Projects Accounts), Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), city project no. 1531.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize an increase in the contract with JMF Construction, Inc. for the 2016 Patch and Sidewalk project by $67,000 for a new contract total of $188,545, payable out of Permanent Improvement Fund 411, Department/Agency 035 (Capital Projects Accounts), Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), city project no. 1531, requisition no. 16-0366. This increase is necessary for additional work due to water main restoration on higher traffic volume streets.
