RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE LIBRARY FOUNDATION TO UTILIZE OFFICE SPACE AND TELECOMMUNICATION SERVICES AT THE CITY’S MAIN LIBRARY.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute a use agreement, substantially the same as attached hereto as Exhibit A, with the Library Foundation to utilize office space in the city’s main library at no cost and to utilize city telecommunication services for $35.00 a month, plus $2.50 a month per phone, funds to be deposited into fund no. 110-121-1107-4320 (general fund, public administration, information technology, MIS services).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes a use agreement with the Library Foundation for the use of office space and telecommunication services in the city’s main library. This use agreement formalizes the current arrangement with the Library Foundation for the use of office space and institutes a modest fee payment to the city of $35.00 a month, plus $2.50 a month per phone, for telecommunication services. The Library Foundation was established in 1990 to support the library by building private financial support and deepening public commitment to the library.
