CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to execute a second amendment to an agreement with Bench Strength Partners, Inc. (BSP), city contract no. 21872, substantially in the form of the attached Exhibit A, for professional services to support lease negotiations for the installation of small cell communication systems on city property on the same terms as in the original agreement; said compensation payable into fund no. 210-030-3152-4620 (special projects fund, finance, telecommunication infrastructure, telecommunication rental fees) and payments to BSP from fund no. 210-030-3152-5441 (special projects fund, finance, telecommunication infrastructure, other services & charges).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes a second amendment to an agreement with BSP, city contract no. 21872. The original agreement authorizes the negotiation of cell tower leases on city owned sites. The amendment expands the scope of the agreement to include negotiation of leases for installation of small cell communication systems on city owned property for a fee based on revenues generated for the city. The fee structure for the second amendment remains the same as the existing agreement.
