CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into Amendment No. 1 to Grant Agreement #109701, substantially the same as the attached Exhibit A, with the state of Minnesota, department of employment and economic development (“DEED”), to incorporate a conflict of interest policy authorized by Minnesota Statutes §16B.97, subd. 4(a)(1).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The purpose of this resolution is to authorize an amendment to the City’s existing Grant Agreement #109701with the State of Minnesota, Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED). Under this grant, the City accepts funding from DEED to provide services under Title I of the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (W.I.O.A.), the Minnesota Youth Program Services, Minnesota State Dislocated Worker Program Services and the Older American Program for the period July 1, 2016 - June 30, 2021. The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate into the existing Grant Agreement a conflict of interest policy authorized by Minnesota Statutes §16B.97, Subd. 4(a)(1).
