RESOLUTION APPROVING APPOINTMENT OF ROBERT PEARSON AND STEVE GERADS AS CITY REPRESENTATIVES TO THE DULUTH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT JOINT AIRPORT ZONING BOARD

CITY PROPOSAL:
WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 360.063, Subdivision 3, and the Duluth International Airport Zoning Ordinance enacted by the Duluth International Airport Joint Zoning Board on April 18, 1988, the city shall appoint four members to the Duluth International Airport Joint Zoning Board for a term of three (3) years each; and
WHEREAS, the term of all four current city appointees to the Duluth International Airport Joint Zoning Board shall expire on March 31, 2017.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Mayor Emily Larson hereby appoints Robert Pearson and Steve Gerads as city representative members for the Duluth International Airport Joint Airport Zoning Board effective April 1, 2017 for a term of three years.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution appoints Robert Pearson and Steve Gerads to the Duluth International Airport Joint Zoning Board. Robert Pearson is being reappointed for another three years. Steve Gerads is the City’s current appointee to the Board of Adjustment for the Duluth International Airport Joint Airport Zoning Board.
