CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with A Plus Landscaping, LLC for the Amity Creek Bank Stabilization Reach #579 D-2, D-3 Project in the amount of $319,775, payable out of Disaster Recovery Fund 225, Department/Agency 125 (Finance), Division 1807 (Parks, Recreation & Other) Object 5400 (Miscellaneous Repair & Maintenance Services), city project no. 1355,
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the award of a contract for the bank stabilization project at Amity Creek, Reach #579 D-2 and D-3 by A Plus Landscaping, LLC in the amount of $319,775. A Plus Landscaping, LLC was the lowest responsible bidder of the two companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate was $800,000. Payable out of Disaster Recovery Fund 225, Department/Agency 125 (Finance), Division 1807 (Parks, Recreation & Other) Object 5400 (Miscellaneous Repair & Maintenance Services), city project no. 1355, flood site no. 579, requisition no. 17-0286. This project is entirely funded by a flood recovery grant from the Board of Water and Soil Resources (BWSR).
