CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to contract with Ford of Hibbing for the purchase of seven (7) 2017 Ford Utility Interceptor Vehicles in the amount of $220,470.63, payable from 250-015-2017-5580, CE250-V1703 (Capital Equipment-Public Administration, Fiscal Year 2017, Capital Equipment; Capital Equipment Fund 250, Police Vehicles).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the purchase of seven (7) 2017 Ford Utility Interceptor Vehicles for Police Department use at a cost of $30,902.50 for each of six (6) marked units and $35,055.63 for one unmarked unit.
These vehicles will replace squads 9376, 9341, 9349, 9322, 9355, 9197 and 9270.
This purchase is against Minnesota State Contract 83064, Release A-174(5).
