CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to accept a grant award from Target corporation in the total amount of $5,000 for the purpose of funding the blue santa/shop with a cop program. Funds to be deposited into fund # 215-200-2255-4270 (Duluth police department, police, miscellaneous police grants, other grants) and expenses to be paid from fund # 215-200-2255-5441 (Duluth police grant programs, police, miscellaneous police grants, other services & charges).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the proper city officials to accept a grant from Target Corporation in the amount of $5,000. The grant funding will be applied to costs associated with the Duluth Police Department’s Blue Santa/Shop with a Cop program. The grant period is from June 8, 2017 through December 31, 2017.
