RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A $30,000 CONTRIBUTION FROM THE DULUTH AREA HORSE TRAIL ALLIANCE FOR EQUESTRIAN TRAIL IMPROVEMENTS IN MAGNEY-SNIVELY NATURAL AREA.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the city of Duluth does hereby accept, as a gift from the Duluth Area Horse Trail Alliance (DAHTA), a $30,000 contribution to be deposited into fund 452-030-4660, project HANDHTAX-1524 (Tourism & Recreation Projects, Finance, Improvements Other than Buildings, Equestrian Trails), for implementation of equestrian trail improvements at the locations shown in exhibit A, at Magney-Snively Natural Area.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the city hereby expresses its appreciation for this gift on behalf of the city and its citizens.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution is to accept a $30,000 gift from the Duluth Area Horse Trail Alliance. The contribution is for implementation of environmentally sustainable equestrian trail improvements on the Ely Peak loop trail within Magney-Snively Natural Area which is scheduled to be improved for equestrian use later this year.
